The GunCycle Auction-Based Process

GunCycle's auction-based platform is based on people placing items for sale on the website and others bidding and buying those items. GunCycle is only a venue or "platform" for these sales and the items purchased do not come through GunCycle.

Rough outline of the GunCycle Process
  1. Lister lists item on GunCycle.com
  2. A Bidder wins auction
    • Bidder becomes "Buyer" and Lister becomes "Seller"
  3. Buyer pays Seller for item
    • The payment methods depend on the Seller's accepted payment methods. It is important to check on the auction detail page before bidding. Some Sellers will only accept money orders while others will accept credit cards
  4. Seller receives payment and ships product to Buyer's FFL
    • Once the Seller has payment and the proper arrangements are made with the Buyer's FFL, shipment is made. Carriers and rates are listed by the Seller on the auction detail page.
  5. Buyer's FFL receives firearm and notifies Buyer
    • Upon receipt of the firearm, most FFLs will contact the Buyer and let hem know it was received.
  6. Paperwork is completed at Buyer's FFL and firearm becomes Buyer's
