Adapter nut is needed when installing Hogue Overmolded forends on the Mossberg 835 The adapter nut is required to install a Hogue forend on a Mossberg 500A/835 12 Gauge shotgun. It can be also used with any Mossberg forend tube which measure 6.75 long. If you have the standard length tube of 7.75 tube this adapter is not needed.
