Its pierced, geometric handle was inspired by the frame of the legendary œbirdcage Maserati, which revolutionized sports car design. True to that spirit, the Edgeratis handle scales are painstakingly machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminum and hardcoat anodized to create an exceptional blend of strength, light weight, non-slip texture, and dramatic style. They also provide a view of the knifes streamlined Compression Lock mechanism, which consists of a stainless steel lock bar nested into a machined pocket in the obverse-side scale. The knifes straight-spined, full-flat-ground blade is crafted from CPM S30V particle metallurgy stainless steel. Available in both PlainEdge and SpyderEdge configurations, it features a textured index-finger choil that allows a forward-positioned grip for enhanced control. The Edgeratis broad-based pocket clip is reversible for left or right-side tip-up carry and complements the blades fully accessible Trademark Round Hole to allow swift, positive deployment with either hand.
